The Sony a7C II Mirrorless Camera builds on the compact design and full-frame sensor combo of its predecessor while maintaining the same small, all-day, daily form factor. It now delivers increased resolution, autofocus, in-body image stabilization, and video capabilities. The camera features an 33MP full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor and a BIONZ XR CPU, which together can shoot 10-bit 4K video at up to 30 frames per second or a maximum of 10 frames per second while using either a mechanical or electronic shutter for AF and AE.
The a7C II's 5-axis optical image stabilization system offers seven stops of shake compensation, which counters five different types of camera shake experienced during handheld still and video shooting, is algorithmically optimized for precision detection and control down to a single pixel. The unit is dust and moisture seals to protect against harsh environments.
