The EOS-1D X Mark III is Canon's flagship pro DSLR and is their most advanced camera to date. This weather-sealed workhorse features Canon's new 20.1-megapixel sensor and coupled with the DIGIC X processor, it gives incedible shooting speed - up to 20 fps (full frame) in live view and 16 fps when using the optical viewfinder.
The ISO range has been increased on the 1DX Mark III to ISO 100-102400 - expandable to ISO 50-819200 so it's superb in low light. Canon have also improved the autofocus by using a dedicated CMOS imaging sensor, improving accuracy and precision and allowing many more focusing points in the viewfinder.
Filmmakers can use the Canon 1D X Mark III to shoot full-frame 4k video at 60 frames per second, recording footage internally using the 10-bit HEVC/H.265 codec with Canon Log or 12-bit Raw, for expanded dynamic range and easy colour grading during editing. It can also record 5.5K Raw video footage internally to its CFexpress cards, giving filmmakers unprecedented image quality.
